I'm back! + New Activities, Missions, New things..

Yessiree, I, :iconicevalaxy: have returned. :) I'm happier with my art style.

Now, what I really wanted to talk about was:

You guys are bored right? Unlike Super Groups, our club isn't shiny and what not. Plus, we have a short supply of Admins. We can't hold a contest because no one would donate for a prize.

So for now, I hope your happy with Monthly Challenges. :) Not really a contest, but you atleast get to get featured here, and knowing the new deviantART, it's harder to get noticed around here since the new layout makes it hard to comment and fav sometimes.

This Month's Challenge:
Deadline: End of August

Draw your favorite vampire going against one of the pathetic pires that sparkle! :D

You may draw any vampire, except for those sparklepires. Yes...even Count Chocula. Have fun! ^u^

Why I Hate Twilight:
Deadline: September 15, 2010

Draw or write the reason why you hate Twilight. It could be in the form of a drawing, a poem, a story, and article, etc. As long as you have fun. :)

Familiar, part twoCHAPTER ONE~

Saturday was popular with Washingtonians. The main reason being it was the day that everyone went to the "Saturday market" and wandered past tents and booths, spending money needlessly.
I went down to breakfast and found a plate of pancakes waiting for me on the kitchen counter and Dad was standing at the stove, making more.
"Morning, Cori." He smiled.
"Morning, Dad. I'm gonna go to the Saturday Market after I eat breakfast, is that okay?"
"Of course, honey. Oh, while you're down there, could you pick up some strawberries and cherries from the Grishams? They always have the best tasting fruit."

All I saw was darkness. I wasn't really sure what had happened to me, except that I was--in probability--dead. I tried to place my hand on my chest in order to check for a pulse. Dirt fell through a hole above me and I realized that I had been buried in a coffin, and that something had punched a hole in the lid of that coffin. It only took me a second to figure out that it had been I who had punched the hole in the lid.
The strength I had accumulated in a matter of twelve hours was more than I could ever want. In this current circumstance, however...

Burning Daylight
PREFACE~

I was just an innocent bystander. A friend of the Cullens' but not of Bella. And yet she was the one standing up in front of us all in only her shift, hands tied behind her. She looked stonefaced, trying not to cry. I wished she would show some sort of emotion for just once in her life, but she never did.
The drums beat heavily and my heart would have beaten faster if it had still been able to beat at all. I hid beneath my black hood, letting only my good eye peek out at the goings on. This was my doing. I didn't regret it. Not one bit.

The Same MistakeCHAPTER ONE~

I couldn't remember the accident very clearly--I was still groggy. But from what?
I heard a faint beep...beep...beep...beep to my left and I felt bandages and tubes in and on my arms. There was a burning sensation above my left eyebrow, and I knew I had been cut up pretty bad.
Someone hummed on my right and I smiled at the sound. It was a comfort to me.
I allowed my eyes to flutter open.
I was in a hospital room with tubes stuck in my arms like I had assumed; a bandage wrapped around my hand and wrist so I couldn't move my fingers.

What are sparklepires?
A name for Twilight vampires, ahem, sparklepires. Basically, "vegetarian" vampires that sparkle when put into sunlight, unlike actual vampries that would burn in the solar light. Basically, fake vampires.

Do you hate vampires? (As in, the non-sparkling ones)

Well, ~IceValaxy surely doesn't. This group is like the saying,

Hate Twilight, Because We Love Vampires</i>

If you hate Twilight so much, why don't you just ignore it?

So you're saying that people who are fans of Twilight have the right to express their feelings about it, but we don't?

As much as I still agree twilight - fail, I'm just not into hating it as much as I used to. Plus the club has some really... less than mature deviations.
